Fonda Not Acting
For all the accolades I see Fonda receiving for his performance, I must say this character actually seems more like his actual personality than most of his noble good guy roles. Thursday is cold, un-affectionate, arrogant, and overly sure of himself. If you read what his children had to say about him, that describes Fonda pretty well.
