shareI'm glad Bela Lugosi played Dracula instead of John Carradine as well, I wasn't a fan of him as Dracula.
I like the wolf man the best.
The Wolf Man
mainly because he was, partially, a hero in the film.
Dracula! Bela is the best.
shareI have to agree that Dracula was the best. Lugosi's portrayal is better than his original Dracula and he does cement the film with intensity once the Wax Museum scenes are over. Ian Keith was the other choice, not Carradine, and thank God the studios made the right one.
While House of Frankenstein/Dracula were good how much better would they have been if Lugosi played the role.
My favorite monster is Dracula.
shareVincent Price, of course! :D

I love 'em ALL, but I have a special place for Lugosi's Dracula. I love his scenes with Costello - "Making the most of life - while it lasts." Oh my gosh, why isn't that line in AFI's top 100 lines of all time!! Plus the way Lugosi shifts into suave ladies man - "let me tell you - while we dance" and the wonderful bat transformations, just make it for me. This is my favorite movie of all time.
shareThey were all great.
