Once Milland and his sister were in the house and recovered their dog, why did they keep chasing the squirrel?
Does anybody know?
I haven't a clue. Maybe it was to make the movie feel cute and harmless. I found it annoying.
shareThey might not have gone into other areas of the house to realize how lovely it was, and that they wanted to buy it. Sometimes when one is very intent on something, they do it and do not look around and notice their surroundings. So, they might have gotten the dog and then left without noticing anything. However, once they stopped looking up the chimney, especially Pam, they noticed the house.
