Overrated

The acting was good. Great in some areas.

The dialogue fits just fine. With some great bits of comedy and tension.

The characters are three dimensional with their plans and agendas.

It's got a good pace that keeps moving and fantastic scenes.

Yeah, it's perfectly rated.

Can't stop the signal.

Yeah, that's why it's one of the most quoted films of all time.

As with most films in the 40s, the acting was terrible.....The characters are just caricatures with no depth whatsoever.

Humphrey Bogart's performance is one of the top 10 greatest performances of all time, troll.

OP, you prefer films with action fantasy or comedy and think the problems of little people don't amount to a hill of beans. There's loads of great action films knocking about though so good luck to you.

Personally I find the majority of them poorly scripted, badly acted and with characters that actually are based on caricatures. Their plots tend to be so contrived as to make Liberace blush and the dialogue as memorable as Bill Gates' tie.
