If you were to improve this movie, what improvements would you make?For me, it would be:
A. make Faline a more major character and the heroine of the film.
B. Give a backstory on Ronno
C. have a scene after the mom death scene with Bambi and Faline when they are teenagers
D. The film's running time should be 96 minutes.

I would watch it on a more comfortable sofa. Other than that I have nothing.
shareI would have just put in a transition scene from the death of Bambi's mother to the spring song. Also, maybe more like 75-80 minutes would have been good for the running time.

Make all the deer look like they should...like WHITETAIL DEER. Not a mixture of European and American deer.
I would change the way all the "young bucks" look in the film, no 2 deer antlers look the same.
Deer dont "twitterpate" in the spring, they breed in the fall.

I would:
1. Make the movie longer
2. Had some scenes that took place after Bambi's mom dies but before he grows up
3. Properly introduce Ronno
I agree about all but A- this isn't Faline's movie. She's a good character as she is, she complements Bambi like she is supposed to. I do wish she had a bit more screen time though, just so people complaining about her supposed lack of a personality would shut up.

Since rereading the novel recently, definitely all four of these options, and also find a way to include Gobo, Faline's brother, and a few of the other characters from the book. Maybe a few more of the plot points from the book that weren't included to make the movie more of a story, like maybe Bambi or the Great Prince could help free Thumper from a snare. That would have been a good one, I think.

You can't improve upon perfection, so I'm not sure what you're going for here. Your "improvements" sound like attempts to make the film more conventional...I'm not on board with that.
Don't make me take off my shoe!
