Raise your hand if you're going to see this Fathom Event!

I'll raise mine: me, me, me, me, me!

I can't wait! I just love the Fathom Events, or most of them. Casablanca, Double Indemnity and now this. I saw Gone With the Wind at a local event and that was simply amazing too.

I'm going to try my best. I've always loved Fathom putting the classics on the big screen.

I'm going Sunday. I've only seen it once so I'm looking forward to it.

I am going sunday as well. Bought tickets for me and the wife a week plus ago. Can't wait to see it on the big screen.

We're going and taking our 15 year old son. He keeps saying that he wants to find at least one classic movie to love. We tried 12 Angry Men, but he got bored. Hoping this will fare better.

Me!

I went. First time I've been able to see a classic like this on the big screen.

Awesome! So what did you think? Was it better than on TV?

I just got back myself. Was yours late to start? Ours didn't start until almost 2:25 when it was supposed to start at 2.

It was definitely better than TV. It was really cool to see it with an audience. My dad went with me. I was surprised at how many people were there, I was just expecting a few. My fifth grade high school teacher was present, as was the former mayor of my hometown. My show started at 2:00.

I went this afternoon.

Just got back. I haven't seen an old movie in the theaters since college, good times. I hope TCM keeps this up for a while and gets around to 2001: A Space Odyssey.

We're going this Wed night with friends. Can't hardly wait. Should be a great time.

We are fortunate that our town has a theater that not only shows the special TCM movies monthly but they also have a Classic Summer series every year. We get to see some really great - or simply fan favorites - on the big screen as they were always intended to be seen.
