Eerie and well made

Mark of the Vampire may be let down by its ending, but getting there is a fantastic ride. The movie looks and SOUNDS great. Just listen to that constant moaning wind! The sets are great, the fog adds atmosphere, and it’s well acted. I’ve always believed Lugosi was much scarier here than in Dracula.

Yeah, excellent, short movie. Very eerie and atmospheric. The background sound was perfect. Lugosi and the whole cast were terrific. Carol Borland was perfect as Luna the vampire woman.

As good as the whole cast were, I think Borland was my favourite. Beautiful, very creepy in certain shots, and that furious hiss she gives when she's interrupted as she's about to bite the leading lady is awesome!

I agree with every single word. Up to that ending it's a fantastically atmospheric vampire thriller. Lugosi is very menacing - much more so than in Dracula (which I do like).
