I'm watching the movie now--it's really amazing and powerful, even if sickening at times. It's hard to believe these are the same people who later became history's worst villains. This film is important because it shows you how an entire nation can be duped--Hitler seems like a very good person and like he could have been really great for Germany (if not for the whole starting World War II and killing the Jews thing). Riefenstahl was a true artist, it's a shame she wasn't born in America or somewhere that she could have put her talents to better use.

To the OP: I dunno if it's wrong or not to like this movie. I guess it depends on "what you liked" about this propagandistic documentary.

If you like it for its cinematography, direction, edition, I don't see anything wrong about liking it.

BUT

If you likes it because of its content, its message and whole the Nazi-fascism imagery, then mein freund, you better buy a brownish military-like outfit and start learning german.

start with this: Sieg Heil!

TOW and Olympia are very high on my list as far as films go, not for pushing politics on anybody.
