According to the ads, this year it will be on in it's original Black & White and not the edited colorized version they have been showing the last few years. Looking forward to it. Never really cared for the look of the Turnerized version of the classic movies.

shareHere in New York on WPIX-11 it was the edited colorized version followed by the Laurel and Hardy short "The Live Ghost". It was played twice (once at 10 AM and again at 3 PM) and in between each airing were a bunch of episodes of the Honeymooners. I'm just glad that one local station still pays attention to holiday traditions.
shareGood for WPIX. I don't live in that area anymore but this movie was one of my favorite holiday traditions growing up. I even loved to watch the commercials for it on WPIX.
