hey is scarface (1932 version) better than the 1983 one? where can i get this movie so i can finally see it?
shareI like '32 better by a little bit. I think it flows better as a film, and I was never a huge fan of Pacino in the role. The main upgrade imo for the '83 version was Michelle Pfeiffer, but Pacino was just too over the top in the end. I guess that was the point, but some reserve would have been nice because I didn't care at all when Pacino died, I was kinda glad he did, while in the older version I had at least some mild sympathy for the character.
