The Island
Upon ascending a high point and surveying the island, Rainsford commented that he could see how Zaroff could manage to find his human quarry so quickly because the island was “no bigger than a deer park”. So where did all of the water that fed that massive waterfall come from and how is that the island had different microclimates like the foggy swamp?
