How can you watch a 4+ hour silent film??

Its torture. Pure torture. It could be the greatest thing ever, but just sitting in one place for 4, 5 or even 6 hours watching a silent film cannot be a great experience. If/when I do see it, I'll have to spread it out over two sittings.

It's not a 'silent' film, it's accompanied by music; it's not like you are actually sitting there in silence -- that'd be weird and uncomfortable. It's also very entertaining, funny, powerful and at times thrilling, so the time flies by.
