I'm starting to agree with what you say. I've pointed out many times how liberals and the liberal media hold everyone else to impossible standards while they hold themselves to no standards at all. Her stupidity and their acceptance of it is a prime example.

In the 1950s, the U.S. had enormous manufacturing capability that was totally undamaged by WWII. Even at higher tax rates, companies did well. But despite the tax rate, there were enormous loop holes that corporations took advantage of.

Also, there was far less welfare money wasted in the 1950s. Most families were two-parent who raised kids that didn't end up in the welfare or prison system.

Totally different era.
