Walz LIED repeatedly about his military service, for political gain

“We can make sure that those weapons of war, that I carried in war, is the only place where those weapons are at,” Walz says in the brief clip. JD Vance alluded to the video at campaign stops Wednesday, accusing Walz of misrepresenting his military service and asserting that he never spent time in a combat zone. - NBC

Walz never served in combat and was demoted upon retirement from the National Guard, for failing to complete a two-year training program.

This is a far Left loon who lies a lot, and is very anti-family. He's an all around socialist clown.

disgusting

He is a r-a-d-I-c-a-l. Super dangerous. The fact the left is more scared of Trump than Walz is a terrifying mistake.

reply

Incorrect. Walz served for 27 years in the US National Guard. I've tried to find as much dirt on the guy as possible and it seems he WAS promoted to E9 Command Sargeant Major, but retired before finishing training courses and paperwork that typically take 3-4 months to complete.

reply

Wasn't he promoted to E9 Command Sargeant Major but retired NOT of that rank? He was E9 for taking classes, but dropped out and that rank was reduced to his previous rank because of it. That's what I've read, so far.

The way it worked was that he was offered the promotion and accepted it, and you can began accepting duties immediately, but you have to complete a several-month training course before officially being recognized, or something. So, Walz accepted the E9 promotion and began carrying out E9 duties, and started his training course, but retired prior to finishing. He can honestly say that he was an E9 but was demoted to an E8 post-retirement for not fully completing the E9 training course.

It would be like working at a restaurant and getting promoted from assistant head chef to head chef, and you start making new menu options and fulfilling head chef duties, but retire before officially completing a six-month head chef license. You could honestly say you WERE a head chef because you were performing as one for an extended period of time.

Still a bit confusing to me, but I like your analogy. It helps.

reply

That scenario is not uncommon in the military. Someone will get promoted before completing training for a certain position because they need a person to fill that role.

Right wingers claiming he lied or even that it's "stolen valor" are out of their fucking minds, but we knew that already.
