The reason Trump won 2 (maybe 3) elections was by assuming the role of the "outsider": i.e. not part of the regular political establishment.

Vance is anything but an "outsider".

If they want to win in 2028, the Republican Party needs somebody "different". Hating people without kids is not "different".

He's a smart guy but a pseudo-intellectual and the American people won't gravitate to that in a President.

And to say he would carry on 8 more years of Trump is fallacious. He opposed Trump's agenda in 2016. He's not a true MAGA believer and only glommed on for career purposes.
