shareProgressive posters on this very site repeatedly prove your point. They routinely accuse people of being closeted gay as an insult. They talk “live and let live” but when they get in an angry exchange, they go right to emasculation and accusations of concealed homosexuality which they perceive as the most effective ridicule
shareIt is telling that when you call them on their hypocrisy, without fail, their response is confusion and idiocy.
THey really don't see any contradiction between their supposed... progressiveness and their use of homophobic slurs as attacks.
It really shows how LITTLE they actually care about the things they claim to care about.
I have a liberal friend who mocked compared Linday Graham with a photo comparison to Aunt Pittypat from Gone With the Wind. I actually thought it was funny, but asked if I had made a similar joke about a liberal senator would she think it was funny. She feigned confusion. You would think with a PhD in Psychology she would have had a better response.
