Okay, I picked one at random to explain what I'm talking about. There's no strong melody. The instrumentation is so sparse that there's nothing to hold my attention. It just sorta rambles. Not my thing.

Same thing again. Her songs just seem to die a few of times in the middle and then there's a hypnotic beat and she mumbles/sings. That seems to be her style. I think she thinks it's "avant-garde". I'm just not a fan. There's no grit.
