'Democracy' strikes again.

I wonder how many realize just how inverted the world has become. Here are just a few analogies for people who got awards back in the day - would they all be in prison now?

“The year is 1994 and Vint Cerf and Rob Kahn have just been arrested
Their invention (TCP/IP) is being used for drug dealers to communicate with each other and they were unwilling to install a back door”
The equivalent version of this just happened with Telegram."

"Alexander Graham Bell has just been arrested. Prohibitionists have been observed to use his telephone machine to coordinate illegal activities and he refuses to allow the government unfettered access to everyone communicating via his telephone machine invention."

Apparently he's a citizen of France - as well as Dubai. Looks like getting the French passport might have been a mistake.
