Many consider her beautiful, and many more look back and laugh at what passed for beautiful in the '70s. Others, like you, fetishize the past. shareIt's not different today than it was in the '70s. Many people, women and men, are putting themselves in the public eye, and trying to establish themselves as sex symbols. The best looking ones, as determined by society at large, succeed. That you find Olivia Rodrigo unattractive is based on your own preferences. The fact that most everyone else does is because she is objectively beautiful by societal standards. It has nothing to do with social media or the obesity problem.
