RUMOR: Florence Pugh Wanted for Disney's Live-Action Tangled Remake

The rumor mill is churning, and out from it comes a new report that Oppenheimer's Florence Pugh might star in Disney's live-action Tangled movie.

Released in movie theaters in 2010, Tangled is Disney's take on the classic fairy tale about Rapunzel, a long-haired princess with magical hair who dreams of leaving the secluded tower where she's grown up, having been sheltered from the outside world. According to movie scooper Daniel Richtman (per Geek Vibes Nation), a live-action remake is moving forward at Disney with Florence Pugh wanted to take on the role of Rapunzel. The claim hasn't been verified by Disney, but it's already it's making waves on social media with the rumor rapidly spreading online.
