why do they do blue hair? to be unique by looking like all other blue hairs?

kinda looks dumb and unnatural... as if this person doesn't like who/what they are NORMALLY, and have to pretend to be something else. or maybe that is just me.

shareI think it's all part of the whole "I demand you look at me damn it!" mentality.
But in any case, hair modification is transient. I told my sons they were not getting tattoos before 18 or get their college paid for free and clear if they had any. Once they graduated they were on their own. With regards to their hair - they could do what they want because it always grows out.
Whether they got one hidden somewhere in a small act of defiance is something I don't know, but I do know that they are both in their 30s and they are GLAD they never got visible tattoos. Several of their friends did and now regret them.
With regards to their hair, I told them they could do what they wanted and I wouldn't make a peep as hair styles or colors are not a permanent change. My youngest did some weird things with his hair but now that he's got a great job, he dresses better and his hair is now neat and professional.
There are dozens of examples of "I demand you look at me damn it!", in celebrity circles, but the two that have annoyed me most in the past are:
1. Dennis Rodman
2. Pete Davidson
#1 did have undeniable talent. #2 got hired onto SNL because his father died in 9/11 and then after stinking up the place, Loren was afraid to fire him and be responsible for his suicide.
But I digress. I love the phrase "I demand you look at me damn it!", strntz, you and I are so much alike. I told my kids if they got tats before age 18 that their college funds would be used to remove them, or forfeited. My daughter did a semicolan on her wrist at age 25, which is a mental health "keep going" symbol. I cannot complain about that, in fact it makes me sad. It serves as a reminder that life does not end with a period but rather continues with the strength to move forward and grow.

Pretty much everyone with blue hair is a full blown liberal and heavily supports LGBTQIA+ rights. Many of them are ANTIFA.
