In the world of TV when 35 year olds play 20 year olds...I really thought she was a bit older(I've only seen her in Arrow). Not saying this as a bad thing...I think shes great in Arrow, just an observation.

I figured she was born in 1988 or 1989,she does not look old,i think on the show felicity said she was a college student. Its interesting though her and Willa Holland are same age and Willa is a month older,but i think Emily looks a little older.

It's like you said.. 30s play roles a lot younger too. Fact is only a truly ignorant person thinks there's a massive difference between 31 and 21 looks wise.
I know, I was also surprised. I thought she was about the same age as Stephen Amell. She's even younger than Roy (Colton Haynes)! I do like she has the same birthdate as me, though! She's just five years younger...
