A stand out in The Martian
I've never seen her in anything until the Martian. She has the intangible quality that draws your eyes and attention. I'm betting she is in the early stages of a great career.

I just do not understand how anyone could rightfully justify casting her to The Martian.According to the "book" the character was Asian, probably Korean, considering the last name was Park. Changing the character's ethnicity raised a big stink and is considered part of the Hollywood actor "whitewashing".

I don't think her ethnicity was even mentioned in the novel.
