I concur! He's doing an incredible job in the role.

Check out "Vikings:..he plays a very very different role as a priest.

I think he's great in the show, but unluckily for him 90% of the Versailles audience prefer Alex Vlahos' character and praise the latter for his acting.
Poor George:( I think Monsieur stole all the limelight from him. I really hoped Louis would be Blagden's break-through role, but I guess Alexander Vlahos is a winner here.
I wish season 3 never happens and George finds a new job which show his full potential.
Poor george??? LOL Your kidding right? There is tons of love for George on Twitter for Louis.
His acting is brilliant and IS showing his full potential, The lead character/actor is not going to leave a successful series in season 3.

I don't use twitter so I don;t know what's going on there. But judging on general tumblr response (as well as IMBD) there is no big love for George as Louis, while Vlahos is more popular. I read also professional reviews that were not so sympathetic towards George's acting and calling him a big miscast. Don't get me wrong - I do think that he is great and underrated as Louis, but Alexander was lucky (talented?) enough to snatch his position as a star of the show.
