being treated for clinical depression

maybe your health is more important than politics.

No one told Bernie Sanders to leave the race when he had a heart attack. No one told him to give up his senate seat either. It's good this man is getting some help. Clinical depression is no joke. If he can pull through, I see no reason why he can't continue on with his job.

reply

Exactly!

I voted for Fetterman because the media said his health should be of no concern moving forward. I feel somewhat duped now. However all I care about is that he is able to keep voting "yes" on democrat agendas going forward thru Congress

reply

I thought it was absurd that he was running and predicted that he would make some excuse to not show up for the debate. To his credit, he did show. Voters had the opportunity to witness his diminished capacity and decided to elect him anyway. Setbacks like this should not have been unexpected, and so I think he should be given some time to get it together. Maybe not 6 years, but its barely been a month.

I wish him all the best.

I don't like it when democrats debate republicans. We need to fundamentally change the country so for the time being for example, we need to have open borders, defunding our police, which causes chaos in urban cities, and other liberal causes like using all green energy. So at first, times will be tough, but it will all pay out in the long run

reply

I dont agree with any of his policies but it is important for voters to see the candidates in a debate setting, especially in this case when the fundamental abilities of one of them is widely questioned. There were a number of candidates nationally who outright refused to debate. He could have taken the same road and I think he was leading the polls before the debate, so there was very little upside to him doing it. Gotta give the Devil his due sometimes.

I don't like when republicans speak

I can't tell if you're serious or being a troll looking for attention and arguments, but the problem is, he doesn't even understand YES vs NO.

reply

Fetterman got my vote the day he stood at the podium and said "I'm John Fetterwoman" at a rally

reply

Agreed TinaKimo and xanthas.

I hope as an aside that we ALL make an effort to be more tolerant and understanding to ALL individuals with mental health issues, particularly depression, which need not inhibit anyone's ability to competently perform their job.

reply

I agree with you on this.

reply

Apparently it's a common post-stroke ailment. And spare me the NY Post's take on this please.

Biden/Fetterman 24'

It's a "no brainer"!

Luke Rudkowski is a national treasure.

reply

If he can’t hack it he should step down.

reply

recall Fetterman

reply

Member of Congress cannot be recalled. They can be expelled by other members with a 2/3rds vote, but it is very rare and AFAIK it has only ever been done for ethical or criminal violations.

reply

A frontal lobotomy will cure that!

Otto: Lobotomy? Isn't that for loonies?

Parnell: Not at all. Friend of mine had one.

You get your news thru the NY Post? I love listening the the panel of women on The View

The left is mentally ill so he fits in perfectly.
