Nikki Haley suffered an embarrassing defeat in Nevada’s Republican presidential primary contest, when she was beaten by the “none of these candidates” option, despite Donald Trump’s absence from the ballot.

The race is essentially meaningless in the nominating process, however, as the big event for Republicans is on Thursday, when the GOP will hold caucuses with Donald Trump on the ballot that will determine the actual delegates sent to the Republican national convention.

Biden is a lock for the democratic nomination. Trump is sure to continue his losing streak even if he stays out of prison. I think the GOP is trying to throw the election to the democrats.

Trump will lose the general election if he is nominated. That is how.

I am aware that a candidate has won an election after a previous loss. This does not change the fact that Trump is a proven loser. The GOP is literally handing the White House to the democrats for another four years.

Trump is still alive and has not made any sacrifices at all. His "suffering" is all a ruse to dupe his cult into giving him more money to pay for the legal woes of his own making. Trump whines that he is no longer allowed to sexually assault women as a perk of wealth without consequences. That does not make him a martyr.

More whining about being called out on his business fraud. Fraud is still fraud even if he cannot point to a victim. Why does anyone have so much sympathy for a billionaire who does not want to pay his fair share of taxes and commits fraud to accomplish it?

If they can do it to Trump, then they better start doing it to all of the fraudsters; rich or not.

1. I have problems with Biden. Why are you so comfortable lying about that?
2. Trump proudly boasts about sexually assaulting women as a perk of wealth. Court says Trump is a rapist. I am comfortable with calling him a rapist.
3. Just because you say "though the equal protection clause" does not mean you understand it or are correct. Explain why you think that has anything to do with Trump being denied due process.

The equal protection clause requires that a state have a good reason for limiting behavior; using laws to make something illegal.

Trump has been accused of violating certain laws and has been indicted. Other than Trump being a former president, there is nothing unusual about these actions.

Many others have been indicted in NY for business fraud. That the state is not pointing to a victim makes no difference as the law does not require they do.

Stealing documents owned by the government has been a crime for a long time, as president, Trump knew this. He even signed a law amending the penalties for doing so.

All four of Trump's indictments have been for his actions back in 2021 and earlier. Trump has had plenty of time to prepare for trial, his crimes are far from unique and there appears to be ample evidence against him such as recordings of his own voice and documents that were in his possession.

Didn't I make it clear above that I have problems with both Trump and Biden? I think I did. Why is it that you are one of the very few that has a reading comprehension problem that so restricts your ability to understand written English?

Neither one of them is getting my vote, but it is most likely they will have the nominations from their party and appear on the ballot in the general election.

So which words did I get wrong? What did Trump actually say in that recorded conversation that he had with Bush and others on the bus back in 2005?

What should the government be limited to when going after a person who steals classified documents, interferes with an election and commits fraud? If you're going to claim it is a civil rights violation to use a certain amount of government resources to go after a person who may have violated the law, I'm going to need a more precise number from you. I'm not a leftist. Trump is getting the kid gloves treatment so far. Do you think you would be allow to run for office instead of being in jail awaiting trial after doing what Trump did?

Trump does not support civil rights for anyone but Trump. Notice how he is completely against the 2nd Amendment with his push for gun confiscation without due process?

These investigations are NOT because they believe or care about any possible violations of hte law, but because they oppose Trump politically. So if a prosecutor is also a political enemy of those who commit crimes, they should not be allowed to take action against them?

So it is impossible that any reasonable person could think that Trump violates the law? Some of his fraudulent business activities are actually in writing.

Surely you understand that a 10,000 square foot unit is not the same as a 30,000 square foot unit? That is what people call objective quality evidence. It is not really open to debate. If a person lies about the size of a building for tax purposes or to obtain a loan, that is fraud, even when Trump does it.
