The nose job helped a lot, she is a hot for a mulatto. She is slightly above average in a Northern European society. I went to high school and college with women that are far more attractive.

She is a diversity hire, unlikely she would be famous based on her other skills.

truth. this says a lot about our hypocritic perspective of various body shaming and acceptances verses the reality of what we are attracted to, to look at. because... humans. :)
SHOULD we be attracted to look at and watch not so pretty people in movies? Sure, maybe in "WISHFUL THINKING outcome equality world", but this will never happen, so, there is no point in dreaming it.

She is very talented but her beauty and overlook is integral to her popularity. Nothing wrong with that, it is the same for most actresses.

She's not ugly, but definitely not hot. She also has the body of 12 year old boy, so that doesn't help.
