Here is an "Entertainment Weekly" article with more information about the movie and where Bryan Singer pretty much implies that this movie is going to be "kind of the introduction" to Storm, Jean Grey and Cyclops. So I think we can expect them to carry the franchise in future movies, when they are a little more older.
