Jonathan Majors’s domestic-violence trial has been postponed for a second time, and a judge will set a new — and hopefully final — trial date at the actor’s next court appearance on September 15. At a Wednesday hearing, the prosecution said it was ready to start, while the defense chalked up the delay to an ongoing issue involving the district attorney’s discovery process. Neither party clarified the exact nature of the hold-up.

Perhaps Major's lawyers are trying to time his trial to occur while the 2 Georgia election interference defendants (Chesbro & Powell) are having their trial begining Oct 23. The Georgia trial could potentially affect the entire country so is higher profile.
