Fascist Kamala Harris rejects religious exemptions for abortion

Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris roiled Christian leaders Tuesday when she took a no-exceptions pro-abortion stance during an interview with NBC in which she announced her opposition to religious exemptions and called abortion a “fundamental freedom.”

NBC’s Hallie Jackson asked Harris to name “specific concessions” she would be willing to make in order to convince congressional Republicans to support a pro-abortion bill the now-vice president has repeatedly promised to pursue if elected to the White House in two weeks.

Harris did not provide an answer to Jackson’s question, instead opting to attack red states’ pro-life laws.

The reporter again pressed Harris as to “what concessions would be on the table.” “Religious exemptions, for example, is that something that you would consider with a Republican-controlled Congress?” Jackson asked. Harris replied: “I don’t think we should be making concessions when we’re talking about a fundamental freedom to make decisions about your own body.”

“Kamala Harris admits she would deny religious exemptions for abortions—forcing Christians to kill unborn children and seemingly doubling down on weaponizing the government to jail pro-lifers who pray outside abortion facilities,” CatholicVote wrote. “Why would any Christian vote for her?”

reply

She's shown hostility towards Christians on a number of occasions, and that's not a good look for even a Democrat candidate, because a number of Catholics are Democrats, and a rule of thumb if you're running for office (doesn't matter the party) is not to alienate groups that are supposed to be solid voting groups for you.

reply

She's seeming more unfit the more she talks. She doesn't seem to understand that people may have very personal and real beliefs in why they might not believe in something as hot as abortion. It's like she's saying "It doesn't matter what reasons you have, I guarantee that I can easily change your mind and show you EXACTLY why this is the right path and choice". Quite sad tbh.

reply

Yeah, she really doesn't have a clue just how stupid she looks to anyone outside her own head. I've seen dumb blonds in movies that sounded smarter than her! I'll bet if she went on the game show "Are you smarter than a 5th grader," she wouldn't even make it after the first round!

What's really disturbing is, it takes some real mental gymnastics for someone to support her at all. Some people who were interviewed at her rallies didn't even know why they'd vote for her, nor did they have any answers for why they thought she was more capable than Trump. They're just doing what the TV god told them to do.

reply

My guess is that because Trump is more famous and popular, they know about him and not her. I didn't really know Harris at all until she came into the spotlight.

reply

I unfortunately had already heard about her when she was chosen as VP, and the stuff that came out about her time as Attorney General of California was horrifying. She's like a really stupid version of Hillary Clinton.

reply

THIS. She's a psychopath. She is dead inside, its the only way she can say these things with a straight face.

reply

I've heard some disturbing talk about how she was in office. Makes Trump look like a saint if those things are true or confirmed.

reply

That makes no sense!

... fascism adopted policies such as promoting family values, including policies designed to reduce the number of women in the workforce—limiting the woman's role to that of a mother. The fascists banned literature on birth control and increased penalties for abortion in 1926, declaring both crimes against the state.

reply

Why is abortion still an issue this election? It's up to the states now, neither candidate wil be able to just reverse that decision.
