Only if she wins the Election. She has to certify Trump's win or her own win.

"Harris — in her capacity as president of the Senate — will open the certified votes as they are tallied and announce the winner. This process is laid out in the 12th Amendment to the Constitution. Her role, though, will only be ceremonial."

Yes, this situation has a long history, but this thread is about this contentious election.

If Vice President Harris loses, I wonder if we will be hearing that laugh we've come to know and ... well, just come to know.
