It seems like some people (many?) are voting for Kamala Harris simply because of her identity. This is a horrible reason to vote for her, just as it would be bad to vote for Trump because of his identity. Sadly, many people growing up have come to accept identity politics, and this can only lead to bad things. If you are invested in identity politics, you are doing things wrong.
