this country began with Newt Gingrich who did everything he could to insult and vilify
Democrats. He started with the impeachments, he started with the name calling, he
institutionalized attacks on American government in the Republican party. He should be
in prison.

From what I understand the sentence for Trump will come few days after the election.
If he won, I think it would be like "clearly this is a misunderstanding. You need to pay $1 fine, I hope you learned you lesson."
If he lost the election the sentence (over 100 years if I remembered correctly) would land, he would have already been in prison by the inauguration day.
