That really bothers conservatives. Why?

I think it makes her look like a real person, not a cynical politician.

Her laugh is annoying, it's probably why people call it a "cackle" rather than a laugh.

In Kamala's case, her raucous, lengthy laughing jags are her way of concealing that she has nothing of value to say, or what she just said was ridiculous or incomprehensible.

It's also a "buying time" tactic. The irony is that even using the long braying for buying time, what follows is mostly inane.
