Who is this guy he was very dull and wooden as the priest who liked the Vamp-Spider-Mermaid girl. To be honest he was about as pointless and boring a character as Leo Sam's roommate in Transformers 2.

..And I found him to be a much better actor than that awfully overrated Orlando Bloom, who, for God knows what reason, was in the first three films!
I agree. He almost ruined the film for me. His character and sub plot were pointless.

Though i do think the whole romance between him and the mermaid was kind of pointless, i didn't mind, but it just looked like they just put it in to have at least one kiss in it or something.
Like i said, i didn't mind, he is seriously hot. i loved to watch him in the film!
I thought his acting was pretty good, but I think the problem was the way the character was written. Just an awful cliche in a bad subplot that felt very disjointed from the main (and more interesting) plot.
