As I recently read the Americans are willing to fight the Russians down to the very last Ukrainian. They are getting to weaken Russia and test their equipment without having to lose any American lives.

Russia has lost at least 50% of its non-nuke arsenal in the past year, but the Ukrainians are doing their own fighting and don't need to be convinced. The U.S. would be dumb to not assist Ukraine.
