Her talent has legitimized it but it is still a really silly stage name.

Just a stage name but really she is a has been now. She has about 6 concerts this summer in Europe but they will get cancelled because of the virus. That might be why she was over there now trying to keep them from getting cancelled.If they get cancelled she will be finished.

She’s in Rome making a film. Doubt she can convince anyone to break covid rules to hold her concerts. Her last album didn’t produce any big hits, maybe that’s why she is shifting to acting.

Lady connotes glamour, status, prestige.

Gaga connotes craziness, enthusiasm. This word would fit with her over-the-top fashion and other bizarre qualities

So the name kinda fits
