That is projection. And "perfectly" beautiful? You sound as though you would be better off standing outside of her window with a mandolin reciting verse than on imdb. She's just a person.

You can say that about anyone good-looking: Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Naomi Watts -- take your pick. You can even say that about a lot of talented celebrities like athletes, pop stars, etc. Oona is no exception, and I wonder why you seem fixated on her in particular when all kinds of fans do this with pretty much any major celebrity.

We can't help but admire the projection. Those with enough sense understand that it's an illusion. But there's nothing wrong with admiring an illusion if you know it's just that. There's no such thing as 'fake' beauty unless you're talking about altered still images with Photoshop. The eye sees what it sees, and part of being attractive is painting an illusion by building yourself up to be more than what you really are through make-up, eloquent, rehearsed speech, nice clothing, presenting yourself at the peak of your game, etc.

Besides, what does offscreen personality have to do with looks in this context? Hopefully most of us have no expectations to date Oona, that would be foolish. We like how she looks on camera. That's all there is to it. I'm not the type to be disappointed if I saw her on a slobby day dressed in lazy clothing with no make-up. She looks great when she presents herself, and that's more than a lot of people.
