Yeah, I said on another thread that the whole farm shop affair was incredibly weird as was The Sun attempting to double down on it the following day after it had been rubbished as being Kate.
I doubt they'll ever admit to supplying false information to the public but that girl, as well as not exactly looking like her, was about 15 years too young! (And that's before considering Kate should be looking even worse given the diagnosis...)
So I just re-watched a bit of that video and she does say it has been a tough couple of months for the family.
So yes, they did know about it long before that video you posted. And the question remains of why she allowed rumours to circulate for so long, why the palace allowed her to take the blame for that photoshopping incident, why they didn't dismiss the not Kate at the farm shop video, etc.
Could have all been avoided and any distress to her family by making some announcement on this back in late January / early February...
