Super Girl
Do you think shes a good choise for that role? I mean shes hot and all but, i dont see her as super girl. What do you guys think?
shareRemarkable how there are always "people?" who just can't see. I have no problem with those who might not agree with a casting choice. I certainly have at times. I have now seen the SUPERGIRL pilot. Knowing full well it is not only a TV show, but the source material is a comic book, I judge it on the many factors and compromises required to get to series.
I've seen Melissa Benoist in Whiplash & a much smaller role in Homeland. As the lead in a SUPERGIRL network TV series, I think she knocks it out of the park. She is attractive and appealing and best of all intensely spunky. This vision of the character is a throwback to SG's 1960's origin and not the New 52 version. Mehcad Brooks as a fresh incarnation of James (Jimmy) Olsen is even better than I hoped based on the two series I watched him in.
