Yes!!! And the more Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's role allows her depth of intelligence and passion to exceed being just eye candy, the better.

Wikipedia/Bond girl: Bond girls are often victims rescued by Bond, fellow agents or allies, villainesses, or members of an enemy organization (most typically the villain's accomplice, assistant or mistress). Some are mere eye candy and have no direct involvement in Bond's mission; other Bond girls play a pivotal role in the success of the mission.

Of course Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's excellent delivery in TF3 goes well beyond eye candy, and all concerned will want to capitalize on her blossoming artistry.

They say we lose something at each step between feelings, thoughts, and words. Saying what we think isn't always as easy as we expect it to be. And to say or do or become what we feel--with music, paint, or in film--these are the achievements of artists.

Consider the conventional wisdom: "Write what you know." By extension, TF3 is a great start for Ms. Huntington-Whiteley, as she's very much at home in a role that so welcomes her smooth radiance and magnetic charms. Rosie seems engaging and fun off the set, and she brings her playful (and soulful) energy to Carly Spencer. We can look forward to many more of Rosie's visceral translations of herself.

A good read at Wikipedia/Bond girl:

Inspiration

The inspiration for all of Fleming's Bond girls may be Muriel Wright, who has a claim to be the fons et origo of the species: pliant and undemanding, beautiful but innocent, outdoorsy, physically tough, implicitly vulnerable and uncomplaining, and then tragically dead, before or soon after marriage.

Wright was 26 and "exceptionally beautiful" when she and Fleming met in 1935. A talented rider, skier, and polo player, Wright was independently wealthy and a model. She was slavishly devoted to Fleming despite his repeated unfaithfulness until dying in an air raid in 1944, devastating him, who called Wright "too good to be true."

She is really hot as hell !!!!
Hopefully she is getting more Movie roles in the future and a good Bond Actor ;)

Hot, but she cant act. To say she can act means you know NOTHING about acting.

Her performance in Transformers: Dark Of The Moon was ok in parts and poor in others, but as her very first attempt at acting, with only 3 weeks to prepare she didn't do terribly overall. It was so-so. Since getting the role she's reportedly avoided taking on any other projects so she can work on improving her acting skills instead so hopefully she'll show some more potential in her next role in Mad Max: Fury Road, even though it's a small part. Either way I think she'd suit a Bond Girl role, she definitely has the sex appeal and there is still plenty of time for her to progress as an actress, she's only onto her second film.
