her GQ interview is appaling

she talks about herself as if she has the talent of Jessica Chastain...it's embarrassing. She isn't a good actress. period. and that's fine, there are alot of poor actresses working in Hollywood, but the fact that she talks about wanting people to praise her for her non-existant talent is just obnoxious, her publicist should really tell her to stop saying such ridiculous things.

No, she's not a bankable star, but as I mentioned several years ago in in this thread, she's worked mostly in the indie scene and hasn't been given enough of a mainstream push to be a major mainstream star.

The article addresses The Apparition "bombing," but what it doesn't mention is that the film was only released on about 800 screens with almost no promotion. Under those circumstances, it wasn't going to make much money regardless of who was in it.

The article also makes sarcastic jabs at CBGB "only making $4,000" (and they did leave out a zero, btw, it made $40,000), yet again, what they don't mention is that it was only released on 100 screens. I'm also not sure where their $5 mill budget estimate came from, or if it's accurate.

She's appeared in smaller indie films outside of Twilight, and said not long after finishing the Twilight saga that she prefers the indie scene to major studio productions because of all the time away from her family that goes along with major studio productions.
