Robbed at the Golden Globes

Its utterly fucking ridiculous Jodie Foster won instead of her, and not just won but she won for the shittiest season of True Detective by far, with an incredibly forgetful mediocre performance. How anyone could think Jodie Foster in S4 of True Detective was better than Cristin was in The Penguin is just mind boggling to me.

I've not seen a single person disagreeing either, everyone online is saying Cristin was robbed. That girl gave the performance of a lifetime in that show, and her and the show had buzz for a long time even after it ended, the entire world was saying Cristin deserved all the awards. Whereas the entire world forgot about True Detective season 4 almost as soon as it was released, and no one anywhere was saying Jodie Foster deserved an award for that shitfest.

I don't know what kind of bullshit politics went on behind the scenes that led to Jodie winning, but something definitely feels fucking wrong about Jodie Foster winning that award over Cristin. That was not a well earned deserved award, and anyone whos seen season 4 of True Detective can tell you that.

If McConaughey didn't take home the emmy for his masterful performance in season 1 then Jodie Foster sure as fuck didn't deserve an award for season 4.
