I never said that you said that she was, I was giving my reason for why there is no resemblance.

I just came on here for the same reason, I immediately saw that, mainly the eyes I think. I wondered if they were related.

Ok, there's something a little ignorant in what both of you are saying.Although I can forgive the Delta Burke resemblance because that comes from a positive place. Take it from a fat girl who *used* to get Rosie O'Donnell comparisons & now (thankfully) gets Melissa McCarthy. I resemble neither but for being bigger than a breadbox & having a sparkling wit. For some reason, people *always* want to relate chubby women back to a celebrity & sadly there are only a few of them to go around. Chrissy looks & acts like Chrissy, which is cool & wonderful - particularly for a generation of girls coming up seeing a beautiful, articulate representation of someone who might look more like they do on TV.
Kate & Toby so far are giving me everything I wanted from Mike & Molly. Real humans with real emotions who just happen to be larger than some. And who can laugh at fat jokes...'cause some of 'em are funny as Hell!
For the person who *had* to point out Morbid Obesity. Gee, thanks. 'Cause I'm CERTAIN that until this very moment Chrissy has NO CLUE what her weight was!! You are extremely helpful. Do you scream "PIMPLE" to a kid with Acne from across the room? Or "Cripple" to someone in a Wheelchair, too? I'm sure that like me, Chrissy can recite diet books chapter & verse. Knows more about fat & calories than most f'ing experts. She's not gonna read this message one day & go "Oh, I had no idea!" & suddenly be CURED of an "affliction". Obesity is a COMPLICATED DISEASE. Yes, Disease. It has VERY LITTLE to do with eating food. Typically? It has a LOT to do with TRAUMA. Obesity is just the outward indicator...like cut marks or vomiting or suicide attempts. Sorry it isn't as "pretty or glamorous or Hollywood" as the others...JERK.

OMG I started watching this show and just love Chrissy. I looked at her posts to find out information about her. I ABSOLUTELY love what you wrote. I have always said the same thing in regard to someone not knowing something...like until that very moment Chrissy had no clue...Thank you for your wonderful words.
