It was a book before it became a film The Mum did it as she is an attention seeker!

Do you think they might change the ending, Not change it completely but half change it?

Nope and actually I haven't read the book either TBH I read a sypnois about it online to confirm a theory I had when I saw a BTS clip on ET where it showed the mother visiting her comatose son in hospital and she's dress head to toe in red (you can see it the trailer) and my mind went straight to the movie The Sixth Sense where the boy discovers a mother made her daughter sick for attention eventually killing her and disturbingly wore the same colour of red at her funeral!

Oh I see well they might change some things from the book, Maybe you should read the book now :-]
