New Project: Vox Lux

WOW, Rooney always has a way of surprising us, doesn't she? I'm so excited for this. 

Well, this was quite unexpected and sounds so interesting ! Rooney playing a pop-singer ? I'm sold !

Maybe the filming of House will take place in the spring/summer ?


Edit: Perhaps Vox Lux is replacement for that Leos Carax' project. Is that movie still happening ? I'd love to see Rooney and Adam Driver together in the movie.



Fassbender - Mara - Blanchett - Phoenix

House in the sky will probably start shooting next Fall and the Leo Carax project probably didn`t get funding.He said he was going to Los Angeles to try to find investors.Even with Adam and Rooney that film would`ve been a tough sell.

Same. Like you said this is probably a replacement for that. But as much as I want the Leos Carax movie, I want 'Vox Lux' more. It's not a two hander, it's all her seems like. Role will be more meaty, which certainly makes it a lot more interesting, imo. I think this has potential to be something big. *Fingers Crossed*

I'd love if Adam Driver, Nicholas Hoult and Dane DeHaan - they all were supposed to star together with Rooney in different projects but it wasn't meant to be - are also part of Vox Lux. Of course, this will not happen but it would be so good. I can easily imagine all three of them in this movie.

I read an interview with Brady Corbet where he said Robert Pattinson was supposed to star in his next project (presumably Vox Lux) but he wasn't sure if he'd be able to fit it into his schedule. I hope he is--I'd love to see them work together!
