Could Elon Musk Be Deported For Immigration Violation?

Elon Musk is facing immigration problems for allegedly working in America without an employment visa and could arguably be deported, a legal expert told Newsweek.

On October 26, The Washington Post alleged that Musk had worked illegally in the U.S, citing "former business associates, court records and company documents."

Stephen Yale-Loehr, a professor at Cornell Law School and faculty director of its Immigration Law and Policy Program, told Newsweek that Musk could be in legal trouble for his alleged immigration violation.

"Working when not authorized is a clear violation of immigration law and would make Mr. Musk deportable," said Stephen Yale-Loehr, an immigration law professor at Cornell. "Moreover, if he failed to mention his illegal work when he applied for naturalization, his citizenship theoretically could be revoked." Yale-Loehr said.

It is pretty easy to prove since government should have his immigration paperwork, but deporting someone as important as Musk is almost unthinkable.

Then again politics can go extreme, just think what happened to Trump.

But whatever it is it could only happen once democrats are in power again.

reply

Clinton was also subject to an impeachment and trial; it was not by the democrats.

reply

And they impeached Clinton for lying, I was like, hello, isn't that what every politician does?

American politics is a circus.

But putting that aside, and contrary to popular beliefs, Musk is not the president.

reply

And deportation is not an impeachment. Was deportation was one of those extreme politic things you suggested happened to Trump?

reply

Musk can be deported, he is still going to be a billionaire.

They tried to bankrupt Trump, through civil lawsuits. Wherever you are, nothing is worse than being poor, from what I understand especially in the US.

I did not even mention the assassinations.

So deportation is really nothing.

If they are going to target Musk, it is going to be a dozen of women coming out #metoo him, suing for sexual assaults.

That is same trick they used on Julian Assange, Russell Brand and Trump, really that is the easiest way, and they are really not that creative.

I think the only reason Edward Snowden did not get the same treatment was because he went to Russia, US courts could not reach him anyway.

Never happen and he isn't even being paid for what he's doing now, which is saving americans billions of tax dollars instead of it going to waste: sending condoms to Gaza, studying cow farts, the sex practices of fish, ect.
Stop letting the Dems cry about their loss and learn what is finally being done right!

reply

the condoms weren't sent to Gaza, but $54m worth were sent to the continent of Africa between 2021-2023
