There's pics being posted by right wing incels that they show them doing the same thing, arm out with palm flat like that, but they didn't start their gesture with their hand right at their upper chest, full sieg heil!
Nazi officers didn't do it quite like Musk did either, but I also saw video of neo Nazis starting with hand over their chest, elbow at their side like that! So Musk isn't getting away with this one.
Except the actual Nazi salute didn't start with their hand at the upper chest; that's the Terran Empire in the Star Trek mirror universe. The Nazi salute was simply snapping the arm out in front at a forty-five degree angle, with the hand out, palm facing down.

So many reasons to criticize Musk that are more important and that there's no doubt about.
A lot of the people who are calling Elon a Nazi are probably the same ones who are screaming, "Death to Israel!"
Conservative, Republican pundit, Megyn Kelly, defended Elon by explaining that he was gesturing as if he were physically giving his heart to the crowd, while saying, "I'm give my heart to you". She went on to say that it's highly unlikely for Elon to be a Nazi since he recently traveled to Israel to show support for and give money to the Israelis.
