yes a capitalist billionaire

is investing his money to create your utopian republican platform cause...... reasons...

he isn't going to put profits the most important driver in his Twitter plan and policy. nah Elon isn't about making money. he's spending 44 billion for your exact republican ideological reasons.....

reply

The left doesn't seem to have a problem with a billionaire owing the Washington Post.

reply

yeah but he is a betabitch nerd billionaire who is one of them. the guy has all the money in the world and the only girl he can pull is a used up plastic surgery faced girl that looks like a discount trans hooker. the libturds are happy if its one of them taking over and restricting free speech but if someone wants freedom and discussion they throw a libfit

reply

umm wtf are you talking about... what are "the left" going to do.. yes billionaires own shit. did any of them act like Bezos owning it was the lefts saviour and amazing for the country? show me the articles and posts.

reply

most billionaires are leftist because they can afford to be. the problems of the working person will never impact them

reply

Being okay with gay marriage doesn't make you a leftist. In what sense are billionaires leftists?

reply

Bezos, Gates, Cuban, Zuckerburg, even Buffet are leftist in what they say.

Musk is, too. He just believes in free speech, which bothers thevleft.

reply

How are they leftist? You're just saying that they are. Donald Trump is a leftist. He says leftist things

See how dumb that sounds?

reply

based off kwestmo's comments, no I dint think he will see how dumb it sounds. hes dumb so...

reply

True that

reply

Could I see your data that "most billionaires are lefist" ?

reply

You need data to prove this? Its commonly known most billionaires and people close to being billionaires are leftists

https://www.aim.org/special-report/left-wing-myth-of-the-year-billionaires-are-right-wing-conservatives/

reply

That's not a credible source. I'll say what they may or may not want to hear, "Most Billionaires are Right Wing Conservatives", or at least Fiscal Conservatives.

reply

I wouldn't post it if its wasn't a credible source. Yes there are billionaires like the Koch brothers and Trump who are conservative. However the majority are very left wing. Do our country a favor and stay home on election day. People like yourself have ruined this country

reply

Or the NY Times, who is a Mexican billionaire

reply

He's stated that acquiring Twitter isn't about making money, for him. He is a free-speech absolutist, and views having a free and open marketplace of ideas and debate available to the entire world as being "important to the future of civilization."

Call me naive all you want, but I believe him.

reply

yes you are naive. there are far far cheaper ways (lobbying) to do so

again if you think a billionaire capitalist isn't in it for money, I have a magic bean to sell you!

reply

He is literally the richest human being on planet Earth, by FAR. He doesn't need money. He's not interested in "cheaper ways." He is only interested in the biggest and best way of platforming free speech. And now he has it, owns it, and controls it.
You will now have to deal with it.

reply

"hes the richest man"

"he doesnt need money"

yaa he just got there not because he likes money, it was coincidental.

they would not only would they be cheaper, but more effective.

ill see you infer years when your sipping for Elon Musk and your Utopian belief is a joke

reply

I have no "Utopian belief." That's why I believe in free speech. Because I believe free debate and heavy conflict will ultimately lead to an uncomfortable "truce" which equals peace.

Leading people back to the center is the only way to avoid war.

reply

your understanding of politics is simple and nonsense then. no having a multi party system and ending political corruption/money in politics is the only way to avoid political instability

reply

Do you ever get tired of the sound of your atrophied, pea sized brain rattling around in your skull?

reply

soo?

reply

Soo... what?

reply

how'd that workout for ya? the capitalist billionaire who'd didnt care about money but did it for freedom?

reply

Oh he's going to buy it a year or so from now, after the court case, for pennies on the dollar. Stay tuned.

He's not doing it for the money, but he's also not stupid enough to buy something for far less than it's actually worth, after finding and exposing how fraudulently the company's value was inflated in the first place.

reply

buddy this is crackhead conspiracy theory logic. "X proves im right! the opposite of X also proves im right!"

so hes doing it for freedom and the most important thing. but also its for money.. but also its not for money its important.

you need help with your nonsense.......

reply

Grow up, reread everything and think about what you're saying.

Good lord kid, you're fucking STUPID.

reply

you are trying to talk out both sides of your mouth. your first predication failed now you re spouting more nonsense. ill come make fun of you in a few months when hes sued for breach. but im sure you will have a new conspiracy

reply

Don't like it? Buy it yourself or build your own.

Also he appears more a centrist.

reply

lol dumbest shit ive ever read. I can just apply that to twitter now. or any company conservatives hate.

ohh dont like twitter shutting down trump and limiting others? buy it yourself or build your own! derp derp

as usual. you sound like a fucking idiot

reply

Lol that was the literal message leftists told trump ... And he did it, where have you been hiding πŸ€¦πŸΏβ€β™‚οΈ

It's ok if you're not technically inclined however.

reply

as usual another dumb fucking comment.

reply

This is why he left South Africa for America.

The corrupt officials in South African government would taken large shark bites out of his ass, his company would have never gotten off the ground. The officials would have not only taxed is business to death, but would require him to hire incompetent friends of government officials at ludicrous salary to obtain government certificates...TESLA stock would have had to be given away free to compensate for apartheid which are immediately sold because they will get new shares next year (diluting the stock and scaring investment, the country has done this with it's mines)and Tesla company would be required to hire a large precentage of blacks, qualifications be damned. ...oh yeah, the taxes wouldn't go to the people but the officials would line their pockets because checks on governmental corruption are lacking in South Africa.

Off the top of my head I can name 10 other countries that do the same thing.

So THANK you South Africa, for scaring away a business/visionary toπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ.

America is greater for it.

reply

LOL and this has literally zero to do with what I posted

reply

Sorry I mistook you for a anti-capitalist.

reply

capitalism is the best system we have it just has to be reigned in and intelligently regulated to try and mitigate some of its more damaging tendencies while maintaining its strengths

reply

How would you reign in Tesla?

reply

its not about Tesla specifically, its about the general tendencies of capitalism, and its owners. I mean look at countries with fairer taxes, less political corruption, and better regulations.

The EU has far more regulation of the airline industry. they also have FAR BETTER prices competition.

its what happens when your ethos for regulation is "consumer protection + increased competition"

vs American "protect my corporate donors, crush consumer protections, discourage fair taxes that fund infrastructure and other projects that further competition and trade and social mobility"

its why nordic countries have a higher level of trust in their government, less corruption and better standards of living AND economic mobility.

the American dream, the meritocracy and economic mobility is a myth in america. its just Neo feudalism, except its now CEO's and rich people and their kids going to the best schools and inheriting wealth.

reply

"The business of America is business." ~ Calvin Coolidge

A person who bought just $1000 dollars of Amazon stock in it's IPO 1997 and had the discipline to hold onto it for 24 years, that person would be a millionaire today.(~ $1.3 mil)

America creates titans of business, which is the engine of growth for any country. Many countries can't seem to understand why they can't create them, almost all of the "New Titans" have come from America in the past 50 years.

Mr. Musk made a fortune off of Pay Pal. He could have retired in luxury. The man decided to put his "chips" to work and created new business titans for America.

This is to be commended.

It wouldn't have happened in any other country, because they just see the inequalities of capitalism, and don't fully appreciate or understand it's strengths and therefore don't fully embrace it.

wtf are you talking about LOL

the US is the most geographically blessed country in the world. it has no strong enemies close giving it relative stability from enemies for hundreds of years. as well as a perfect placement to trade to both Europe and Asia. its has the most fertile land I in the world.. it has massive natural resources including oil it needed to skyrocket its industrial revolution. it had a massive pool of at first free, and then simply poor black and white workers it was willing to exploit for profits. it massively profited off the blood of dead europeans in both world wars. catapulting it even faster global superpower. as it played neutrality while please dont act like its some great American exceptionalism. its literally no mystery at all.

and now said greed is catapulting china to a higher position. American greed finally came to bite itself as unregulated capitalism meant shifting jobs and IP and R&D overseas.. now that the world isnt in ruin after ww2, and the US has to actually compete economically, and doesnt have all that blood profit from ww2. it is getting surpassed in decades.

lol your historical reimagination and American exceptionalism dick sucking is truly embarassing.

reply

Somebody doesn't know about the Marshall plan.

It required great effort to convince US taxpayers, members of Congress to support it.

For a brush up for your historical knowledge, I provided a link.

www.britannica.com/event/Marshall-Plan

History is full of "What Ifs?"

I truly mind blowing one is what would Europe look like if the Marshall plan was never implemented.

reply

of all the factors I mentioned you couldn't address a single one. and instead introduced this one? And thats all you had? "but da marshal plan!! the US spent 12 billion dollars so they weren't war profiteers!"
hhahahhaahahhahahahahahaha

and now im going to educate you and bring you to school on American GDP during pre and during ww2. I dont expect a reply after the savage beat down im about to give.

So after the Great Depression the US economy clearly retracted. it was so bad and unstable that it in 1929 it was 105 billion. Then it contracting to 57 billion in 1933. and even though it expanded from 1933 on it wasnt perfect growth. in 1937 it was 93 billion but 1938 contracts again to 87 billion.

so what happened during ww2? (in billions)
1940-103
1941-129
1942-166
1943-203
1944-224
1945-228

LOL it literally doubled in 5 years, while previously barely growing and even often contracting in the last 10. lol and the US weren't war profiteers? why because they gave 12 billion after the war? which actually by helping stabilize Europe increased demand for US products, furthering help their own economy. Wow what a crazy what if. Europe recovers far far slower, and the US economy also grows far far slower. who they going to sell products to? totally rely on their own domestic economy?

What's the point of having a roaring US post ww2 economy is Europe is too poor to buy your goods? again the Marshal plan was nothing but more self interest. handing back a tiny percent of the blood money back to help the US.

so the growth from the beginning of the war til end resulted in a net GDP increase of 500 billion dollars compared to what it was at peak pre war! and you are praising them for giving 12 billion back in their blood soaked money? or 2.4% of just what they gained. if we count total GDP for the war years thats 900 billion. or the marshal plan equalling 1.3%

how generous USA! thank you! totally selfless!

wow what heroess. you sure showed me the US wasnt war profiteers!

reply

The heroes are the American soliders buried in Normandy American cemetery in France.

Here is another brush up link.

www.abmc.gov/normandy

reply

in others words, you have fuck all. I didnt need your first brush up Marshall Plan link. I fucking destroyed you on that. its why you won't even touch it.

and now you are doing the same nonsense i'm going to have to destroy you on again

Yes American soldiers died, while industrialists made a shit tonne of money. And you are now trying to ride on their fallen valour to make it so I cant criticize American war profiteering. you are a scumbag. really man. a fucking scumbag

reply

American exceptionalism has also created a drug called Norvasic, made by the Titan American company Pfizer for high blood pressure. The most popular in the world.

reply

Lol you are all over the place haha. ill take that as you conceding. this was an embarrassing exchange for you

reply

I suggest you reread the Marshall plan and try better to understand it's historical purpose.
Hint it wasn't for the benefit of
US industry.

reply

yes I get it to ward off Soviet influence. its almost like it can be multifaceted.

if you dont think that stabillizing European economies , making them a US ally who bought and could buy moreS goods en masse wasnt good for the US economy. you are an idiot

reply

"The Marshall Plan generated a resurgence of European industrialization and brought extensive investment into the region. It was also a stimulant to the U.S. economy by establishing markets for American goods."

https://history.state.gov/milestones/1945-1952/marshall-plan

"The Marshall Plan, it should be noted, benefited the American economy as well. The money would be used to buy goods from the United States, and they had to be shipped across the Atlantic on American merchant vessels."

https://usa.usembassy.de/etexts/democrac/57.htm

you are an idiot. I love when clowns try and lecture me on history. and dont know fuck all.

reply

As a neutral observer, reading this exchange, Redsfan001 destroyed you. You probably don't live in America

reply

LAWL he destroyed me by... never addressing any of what I said. by ignoring my paragraphs of evidence (geographical advantage, trade option advantage ect). latching on to the marshal plan, then getting disproven? then jumping to another topic when I destroyed him on that?

lol you are as sad as him

reply

I call it like I see them. Sorry

reply

you are an idiot then. I am sorry you think the one who dodges and cant address rebuttals wins. your brain must be as low functioning as his

reply

This sperm burper gets destroyed all the time but he's too stupid to realize it.

reply

Yup. Funny thing is he thinks he wins these arguments when he clearly gets hammered by all

reply

What do you mean?
serious question.

reply

sorry it was sarcasm, I meant.

"He isnt going to prioritize profits as his most important motivation in deciding his twitter business plan. nah Elon isnt about making money. Hes spending 44 billion for the republicans ideological reasons on this board, to create "freedom"

I was making fun of conservatives for being so naive

reply

so to further clarify you meant:

"conservatives think he's doing it for them and their free speech, but obviosly he's doing it for money at the end of the day"
?

reply

yes by and large most of the reason by far imo

reply

right , gotcha , sorry for being a bit slow.
I guess it can be both to some degree .

A key indicator will be if he lets the Trump back on it.

reply

In your mind, making money and making the world a better place aren't compatible. Grow up.

reply

in my mind someone who spent 44 billion dollars on a business, is trying to make money. how extreme of me

reply

I see you are getting hammered again in another debate. So let me guess. Come November, I assume you will be voting for 40 year high inflations, open borders and high gas prices, right?

reply

awwwww I got a little doggy. aww good doggy

reply

Another question I have is are you ever going to win a debate on here?

reply

good little doggy barking on command

reply

They go full RT when they have no comeback HAHA.

reply

LOL so care to man up bitch? how did the deal work out?

reply

Musk is the greatest capitalist of all time. He will do the deal when Twitter comes clean about its amount of users. You lose. I win. Again

reply

LOL what happened to be getting hammered? Elon ISNT buying twitter and is now going to court soon. hahaha only in your delusional mind did you win anything, but you need to repeat that since you are a constant loser in real life

reply

Oh yea, you get hammered all the time on these boards. We all see it.

reply

good one lol. cant man up I see. most contards cant. beta males

reply

I think anyone who makes money is an Adolf Hitler fan. You with me brother?

reply

Should he step back and let multi billion companies like BlackRock continue to own it? Virtue advertising hypocrites.

reply

Lol extreme leftist freakouts over this are TOO FUNNY 🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣

Have a fucking cry about it loser.

It's a private platform and he can do whatever he wants, remember. He can choose to leave it a democrat utopian echo chamber if he wants ... But it appears that it's going to become centrist/neutral.

No-one is acting like he's saving anything - more leftist extremists are freaking out because of something on the internet πŸ€¦πŸΏβ€β™‚οΈπŸ€¦πŸΏβ€β™‚οΈπŸ€¦πŸΏβ€β™‚οΈπŸ€¦πŸΏβ€β™‚οΈ
