Hello, I am a 35 year old Gen Xer. Back in the day I was kind of cool, I would listen to Weezer and Red Hot Chilli Peppers

Alas, life has passed me by and I don't know what is cool anymore. I tried to pick up a 19 year old at my local community college and she looked like she was going to have a panic attack. I was so offended that she was looking at my like I'm a freaking sex offendor. I also tried to buy weed from some kid sitting at the smoking pavilion. Apparently now if you want to smoke a cigarette there is a designated area for it, you can't just smoke anywhere even though you are outside. But yes, I let him bum a smoke from me and then when I asked him where I could "score some grass" he put on his headphones and walked away. Rude little shit

Anywayyyy...I have heard the kids saying "queen energy", and this is my practice attempt at using the term, so that when I use it in real life (I'm going back to the community college tomorrow to try again) it comes across as more natural

I am a 33 year old boomer (spiritually and mentally i am part of the greatest generation).

I was never cool back in the day. I would listen to Fat Larrys Band and Judas Priest.

Boomers are not regarded as 'The Greatest Generation', That title is given to the parents of Boomers, those who fought in WW2 etc.

I'm A Millennial, Boomers damn near destroyed our country and don't deserve the title given to their parents who were fucking awesome.

If you are 35 and your goal is to pick up 19 yr olds, you may want to step back and take an assessment of your life as a whole.
